Absolutely great. Fast service, food great with full servings, good prices, and the staff was beyond reproach. They'll be seeing me again soon.

Not real barbecue, taste baked or cooked in an electric smoker. Tried the so called "Sunday buffet" and was terrible. How do put sausage, chicken, and brisket all in the same pan, that's just left over meat from the wee that didn't sell and you're charging $13.99 for.

The crew behind the counter is great, and the food is better. I always look forward to eating there when I come to town.

Got the 2 meat plate, brisket & ribs. Brisket was bad dry had to dip in bbq sauce to eat it, the ribs were great but they only gave me 2 about 4 inches long. The sides were good no complaints there, the people were real friendly.

It use to be good, but not anymore. I think the owner is letting someone else run (ruin) it.

A west Monroe staple. Of course the best bbq in town. The ribs and smoked sausage are my favorites, and the beans and homemade bread are wonderful!

Only 3 star as I've had a craving for pulled pork and am looking for my go to place for that. For an $11 lunch, I at least expect the food to be hot. Sadly, nothing meant to be hot was hot but the potatoe salad was indeed cold lol. The pulled pork was passable but there were multiple chunks of fat I was consistently spitting out as it never broke down. I went out of my way to try this. One and done sadly.

Ribs over done, Mac and cheese was dry and never thought even the Greens were nasty. Not worth the Money. Won't go back.

They have very good bbq.

Your experience will depend on how much you like tangy sauce. The beans are tangy and they only have one flavor of bbq sauce and it is very tangy. The meat did not have it's own flavor.

Good Lord, this food was fantastic. I had the rib and sausage plate with beans and a slice of pecan pie. The ribs were smoked perfectly and were caramelized beautifully. The beans were the most absurdly tasty beans I've ever had in my life and the pie was to die for. Super affordable too. Lots of bang for your buck. Great job, BBQ West!

Smoke inside Restaurant was so bad it made my eyes water. I had to change clothes when I got home. Food was great though. Don't know if I'll eat there in the future.

Great BBQ joint! Been several times and haven’t been disappointed. Had ribs before and chicken, which were both great. Their brisket was about average the day I tried it. Definitely will stick with the ribs and chicken since they’re great, cooked perfectly, and tasty!

I called in a to go order and was told they weren’t serving hamburgers or po-boys. I changed my order and got a 3-meat plate with chicken, sausage, and brisket, I was then informed they were out of chicken. I again changed my order and asked for double brisket and sausage. As I was pulling up to get my order I receive a phone call from the restaurant notifying me that I could not get double beef on my plate. I told them what I originally ordered they were out of. The lady on the phone told me I would have to get ham as my third meat option. I told her that’s not what I wanted and she could cancel my order. Very rude, poor service from this business. I will not return!

The best BBQ in town and generous, too. If you order ribs and it comes with 3, you will get 4 if they are a little on the small side. The staff, the service, the food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the drinks..everything is always on par. Most of all, I love how you can just walk in, get it and go. The beans, y'all. The beans.

Food was great. Meat fell right off the bones of the ribs.

We went in there to eat and we got a chick quarter and sausage. The chicken wasnt even done and then when we tried to tell the waitress, she said very rudely to us that we almost ate it all and then we continued to tell her that we ate the leg first the the waitress said that the pink was just the vains of the chicken. Then the cashier asked if we would like 2 pieces of ribs. One a piece for us both. Then the cashier lady paid for us 2 pieces of ribs a day. The BBQ West people are very rude and unprofessional, except for the cashier Lady.

The beef brisket was delicious. I also enjoyed the ribs.

I just visited BBQ West and I purchased a 3 rib plate and a brisket plate.Cons:• Brisket was extremely dry• Ribs were cold as if not been out of a refrigerator very long• Toast was hard as if it were stale• Toast was barely toastedWith all this in mind you have just lost a customer as I drive clear across town to go there and that will never happen again! To sum it up it was terrible; however, I guess my dog scored as he got to eat the ribs that were totally pathetic!

This place was great years ago. Not the case these days. Food has gone down hill and the staff is rude. Sad.

The food is really great and the employees are supper nice! If you talk really sweet to them there is a really good chance they will give you extra food. I highly recommend this place and will be definitely going back!

The chicken and brisket are all I seem able to order. Also order a side of fries. You will not be disappointed.

Toured through the Gulf States, looked up all the BBQ joints before traveling. Made a list of places to try. West BBQ was absolutely fantastic. It's a cafeteria environment, get in line, order your meats, serve yourself the sides and drink. The staff answered any questions I had, was very friendly. I got the two meat platter, comes with two sides. The smoked BBQ chicken was the best I had on my trip. Smokey, saucy and tasty, moist and tender. The ribs were incredible, moist, fall of the bone tender. A perfect balance of smoke and flavor. The sides were very good, the BBQ beans were great, and the green beans with ham was good. Texas toast was also good. All and all a great experience.

First of all right off the bat lady behind the counter was very rude. Placed order online for pick up but had to wait in line before I was able to pick it up. Not sure the advantages of ordering online.

This place has the best baked beans ever. And the best ham. This place is a must to visit. I come here every time I visit from Texas and it's just the most amazing experience.

Great food

Amazing food, awesome environment & the most polite people I've met I a very long time. The GM is absolutely amazing!! He was very sweet & helped me bring my order to my car. It's not often you see happy employees like I witnessed there today. The food is out of the world as far as flavor & quantity. I'll be back more often!!

I was traveling and found this place and went in to eat. It is a tray line, so you get your tray and plastic fork, knife and spoon. When I went to get the plastic utensils I noticed grime on the utensil holder. It was a THICK LAYER OF GRIME. I figured if they can't even keep the utensil holder clean, the food behind the scenes is likely unclean as well, so I left without eating.

BBQ West has really great food. Everything I've tried has been delicious!! I don't eat baked beans usually, but I LOVE theirs! Good food, fast service, and priced right!!!

Delivered to our home for party. On time, still hot, and delicious. Guest enjoyed meal. Could not have been better. Highly recommend. Will definitely use again

All of our meals from BBQ have been awesome for many years. Today's family pack I brought home it was all cold. I will give them another try one day soon, but not happy today
